BusinessWeek Online - Tony Salemi writes: I'm interested in purchasing a laptop and would appreciate your guidance. I am currently attracted to Apple's Macbook Pro, 15 in. or 17 in. My primary interest in upgrading my laptop is to pursue my interest in art using Corel (NasdaqGM:CREL - News) Painter 10 and Adobe (NasdaqGS:ADBE - News) Photoshop Elements 5. My other requirements are wireless connection to the Internet and spreadsheets with Excel. My concerns are, in priority order:

InfoWorld - The company manufacturing the One Laptop Per Child notebook played down the impact of component shortages in the industry, rebutting local reports that the shortages will affect supplies of the computer when it ships in October.

...anyone got any info on this laptop? Considering buyinf off buddy for roughly 800 canadian and its still got 2 year futureshop warrenty on it.
