China's Founder agrees to preinstall Windows on more PCs (InfoWorld)
InfoWorld - Founder Technology Group, China's second-largest PC maker, agreed to preinstall Windows Vista on laptop computers and commercial desktops, closing a loophole in an earlier deal with Microsoft that potentially exempted commercial PCs from agreements to preinstall Windows.

OLPC asked to free XO laptop (InfoWorld)
InfoWorld - As commercial sales of One Laptop Per Child's XO laptop close Monday, a user tracking the nonprofit effort said continued commercial availability of the laptop could benefit OLPC's nonprofit effort, the XO manufacturer, and children using it as a learning tool.
